 Emily Dickinson’s Views on Mortality Essay

Emily Dickinson's poems " Because I Could Not Stop for Death", " My spouse and i Heard A Fly Buzz-When I Died", and " I Felt A Burial In My Brain" all deal with one of life's few certainties, death. Dickinson's intense interest towards fatality was within much of her work, and is her legacy as a poet person.

" Because I possibly could Not End for Death" is one of Emily Dickinson's most mentioned and renowned poems due to the ambiguous, and unique approach to the popular subject of loss of life. Death through this poem is usually told as being a woman's last trip, which is headed toward eternity. This poem helps to characterize and bring fatality down to an even more personal level. Different from the more popular views of death becoming brutal and cruel, Dickinson makes death seem unaggressive and easy. The theme of the poem being that death is definitely natural and unstoppable for everyone, but concurrently giving comfort and ease that it is not really the end of any soul's trip. The way in which each stanza is created in a complainte gives the poem unity besides making it easy to read.
